What is the Brunswick Duffle actually built for?

This isn’t gym luggage or a delicate weekender bag. The Brunswick 60L is designed for the dirt, the dust, and the downpours of genuine off-grid travel. It’s built to be thrown into the tray of a ute, strapped down hard to a roof rack, and dragged through the red dirt. Whether you’re crossing the Simpson Desert, running corrugated tracks in the Pilbara, or setting up camp in a tropical storm, this bag is engineered to keep your gear completely dry and dust-free

Can I strap it directly to my roof rack?
Yes and that’s exactly how we designed it. The integrated webbing system allows your ratchet straps or tie-downs to pass directly through the bag's structure. Combined with the 3mm HDPE internal base board, this means you can crank your straps down tight. The bag becomes rock-solid on your rack without crushing your gear or warping out of shape.

Operation Guidance
Strap it right: Always use the integrated webbing loops for tie-downs to ensure a secure, non-slip fit on vehicles.

Roll to seal
For maximum waterproof and dust-proof protection, ensure the top is rolled tightly and secured with the Duraflex® buckles before hitting the track.

Capacity: 60 litres.

Weight: 2kg empty.

Built to carry everything you need for a 3–7 day trip without becoming the problem.

Dimensions: 660mm (L) × 300mm (W) × 300mm (H)

Main Compartment
Wide-mouth roll-top opening(with zip). Pack it properly not just shove things in from the top. Compresses down when you're running light. Holds its shape when you're fully loaded. Clothes, boots, a recovery kit it fits.

End-to-End Gear Channels Both Sides:
Not a pocket. A full-length channel that runs the entire side of the bag. Long torch. Handsaw. Rolled poncho. The stuff you actually need to grab quickly not just a set of keys.

Interior Pocket
Valuables, phone, wallet. Separate from the main compartment. Stays put when the bag is fully loaded.

Fits:
Fits perfectly in the boot of a 4WD, wagon, or dual cab, and stacks neatly with swags, fridges, or other gear. Whether you’re packing for a long trip or a weekend escape,The Brunswick carries more than a typical backpack while keeping your setup organised and dust-proof.

Main Body
1000D PVC at 850gsm. Not coated fabric, solid PVC. There's no coating to wear off, no fabric underneath to wick moisture. The body is the seal

Base
Additional 1650D textured PVC at 750gsm. An additional layer of heavier and more dense material than the body because the base is where the bag lives on your tray, takes the ratchet strap load, and gets dragged across whatever surface you put it on.

Internals:
Supported internally by a 3mm HDPE board that keeps the bag's shape under load and protects your gear when the straps are cinched tight. Removable if you need it out.

Construction:
Fully seam-welded throughout. No stitching on the main body no thread to wick moisture, no stitch holes for dust to find. The body is one piece. The joins are fused, not sewn.

Zips
Genuine YKK weatherproof zippers throughout including in the roll-top section. Not "heavy-duty style." YKK. The standard the rest of the industry measures itself against.

Why the spec matters:
Coated fabric repels water until the coating wears. Welded PVC has no coating to wear, it either holds or it doesn't, and at 1000D it'll more then hold.

That's the difference between a bag that's weatherproof for a season and one that's weatherproof for the life of the bag.

FAQs

Is the Brunswick 60L Duffle Bag waterproof?

Yes. The Brunswick is built to keep your gear dry when you're out in the real world.

The 1000D PVC body, welded construction and roll-top closure are designed to protect the main compartment from heavy rain, wind, dust and mud.

But we didn't stop there.

At the top of the roll-top, we've added a YKK® weatherproof zip for another layer of protection. It's one more barrier between your gear and whatever the weather throws at you.

We've tested the Brunswick through heavy rain, strong winds and dusty conditions, and the roll-top has consistently kept the weather out. So when you're camping, travelling, exploring or caught in a downpour, you can focus on what you're doing not whether your gear is staying dry.

Your job is simple: roll the top tightly and secure the Duraflex® buckles correctly. We've taken care of the rest.

The Brunswick isn't designed to be submerged underwater, but for the conditions you're actually likely to encounter outdoors, you can have confidence that your gear is protected.

Is the Brunswick dustproof?

Yes. The Brunswick is built to keep dust and dirt out of your gear.

The solid 1000D PVC body, welded construction and secure roll-top closure help create a barrier against the dust, dirt and grit you encounter when you're out exploring.

We've designed it with real outdoor use in mind, from dusty 4WD tracks and dry campsites to throwing your gear into the back of the vehicle after a day out.

The main compartment is protected by the roll-top closure, with a YKK® weatherproof zip at the top providing another layer of protection. The exterior pockets also use YKK® weather-resistant zips to help protect the gear you keep within easy reach.

So you can hit the dusty tracks, set up camp and get on with the adventure without worrying about dust working its way into your gear.

Roll it tight, secure the Duraflex® buckles and let the Brunswick do its job.

Can I secure the Brunswick in my vehicle?

Yes. The Brunswick is designed with vehicle travel in mind.

We've integrated tie-down webbing into the bag, giving you dedicated points to help secure the Brunswick when you're travelling on the road, hitting the tracks or heading off-grid.

Because your gear is only as secure as the way you pack and strap it, always make sure the Brunswick is properly secured before travelling and use appropriate straps for your vehicle and load.

Pack it. Secure it. Hit the road.

What is the Brunswick made from?

The Brunswick is built from tough, purpose-selected materials designed for life outdoors.

The main body uses 1000D, 850gsm Rip-stop PVC, giving the bag a heavy-duty construction suited to the demands of camping, 4WDing and travel.

We've also added an extra-tough 1650D textured PVC base to help handle the part of the bag that sees the most abuse being placed on the ground, dragged around camp and loaded into the back of your vehicle.

The main body is seam-welded rather than traditionally stitched. This helps create a continuous barrier through the seams while eliminating the reliance on conventional stitched seams.

It's not built to sit pretty in the cupboard. It's built to go with you.

How much can the Brunswick hold?

The Brunswick has a generous 60-litre capacity, giving you plenty of room for the gear you need to get away.

To put that into perspective, you can fit 45+ items of clothing inside giving you the freedom to pack for a weekend away, a longer adventure or simply take more of the gear you don't want to leave behind.

For most trips, the Brunswick can comfortably handle around 3–7 days of clothing and personal gear, depending on what you're taking and how you pack.

60 litres. 45+ items of clothing.

Pack what you need. Leave the overthinking at home.

Does the Brunswick have a structured base?

Yes. The Brunswick includes a removable 3mm HDPE internal base board to give the bag additional structure and support.

It helps the Brunswick hold its shape when you're packing and unpacking, making it easier to load your gear and get everything where you want it.

Because the base board is removable, you also have the flexibility to take it out when you want the bag to be more flexible.

It's another small detail that's been designed around how you'll actually use the bag, whether you're loading it at home, throwing it into the 4WD or unpacking at camp.

Pack it your way. The Brunswick gives you the structure to make it easy.

Is the Brunswick suitable for camping and 4WD trips?

Absolutely. The Brunswick was built for the way you actually adventure.

It's specifically designed around camping, 4WD trips, touring and general adventure travel from loading up for a weekend away to heading off-grid for longer trips.

The heavy-duty PVC construction, welded seams, weather protection, 60-litre capacity and integrated tie-down webbing have all been designed with life outdoors in mind.

It's not a bag made for adventure. It's a bag made for adventurers.

Pack it with what you need, throw it in the 4WD and go.

Does the Brunswick have internal storage and organisation?

Yes. The Brunswick is designed to carry more than just your clothes.

Inside the main compartment, you'll find a dedicated internal pocket for smaller personal items that you want to keep separate and easy to find.

Along both sides of the bag are full-length gear channels, giving you space to carry longer equipment without sacrificing the main 60-litre storage area.

So instead of throwing everything into one big compartment, you can pack the Brunswick around the gear you're actually taking with you.

Clothes in the main compartment. Small essentials in the internal pocket. Longer gear in the side channels.

Everything has a place. You just have to decide where you're going.
