Brunswick Ember duffel in stealth black it's just about bomb proof and you can't drown it. It's the Mike Tyson of duffels terrifying up against ordinary duffels.

I recently took my SUV from Tasmania to Melbourne with the duffel on the roof racks and drove it up to Tallarook hills (some dirt roads) to a friends reunion on a farm up there. The duffel remained very secured on the roof racks and gear inside as expected was dust free. The duffel served us well as an afternoon drinks caddy floating in a dam while we wet some lines. I found the duffel to be versatile for different uses & tasks thrown at it (it's not a 1 trick pony). It has a surprising amount of capacity and some very useful external pocketing features. I found it reassuringly very robust, I don't have worried about it getting knocked about because it's been built to handle that. It's a breeze to clean just hit with water and let it dry.

Definitely water proof, or at least ‘cream’ proof. I had a 250ml UHT cream burst in my pack while using one of my dry bags as a tucker bag. Lost the cream but salvaged most of the rest with a rinse in a creek. Nothing leaked into the pack though.
Another one I’ve used as a waterproof bag for my Swagman Roll, strapped underneath my pack while tramping through some rain soaked brush.
And I’ve also used one as a compression sack/stuff sack for a sleeping bag.
So I like to keep a spare one in my pack for whatever. They’re pretty robust so I reckon one would do fine as a tinder bag or foraging bag too.

I couldn’t be more happy with it. It’s a great bag well made and I’ve recommended to my friends and family.

Much bigger and tougher than my old sling. Carries plenty of wood and great for sticks and kindling collection. I'll also use it for camping.

Whilst I haven't used this for its intended purpose just yet it's been a bloody handy ground mat since I received it a few weeks ago. It lives in the car so it's been used whilst checking under the car, an impromptu picnic blanket for the kids, a rain cover to get a kid from the car to class and a haul bag for beach gear on a recent trip to Lancelin. Hopefully I'll be camping with a fire soon to give it a proper test 😂 but a piece of kit that has many uses, easy to clean and super durable gets a permanent spot in the boot always! Great comms and delivery from Ember too - very keen to see the next few bits of gear

Helps a lot around camp as i don't like getting dirty with the damp bark on my clothes.
