Silky Sugowaza 420mm

The Sugowaza was originally designed for line‑clearance workers who wear rubber‑insulated gloves, think utility workers, arborists, or anyone working near powerlines, where safety and a sure grip are essential. It features an extra cross‑guard to prevent gloved hands from slipping onto the blade

But the Sugowaza’s benefits quickly caught on with others who work in cold, wet, or rugged conditions. Its grooved rubber handle offers exceptional grip and vibration absorption even when hands or the weather are not ideal
Made in Japan

Includes:

  • 1 x Silky Sugowaza 420mm Curved Hand Saw with Safety Guard
  • 1 x Bright orange scabbard

Sugowaza | Built for Grip, Safety & Serious Cutting

Originally designed for line-clearance and utility workers, the Sugowaza delivers fast, powerful cuts with extra safety built in. Its cross-guard and grooved rubber handle give a secure grip, even with heavy gloves, cold hands, or wet conditions making it a reliable alternative to a chainsaw for big branches and tough jobs.

This is a Pro Grade Arborist Saw that is very heavy duty

Campers - Cut firewood without lugging an axe
Hikers - Clear trails, collect firewood, and keep moving
4WDers - Remove branches jammed in your driveline or bashing into your panels

Small light weight, compact, Sharp and Reliable

Massive 420mm curved blade – Built to take on large limbs with ease

Hardened Mirai-Me teeth – Ultra-sharp, smooth-cutting, and long-lasting

Hand guard for safety – Keeps your grip secure and your hand protected

SK4 high-carbon steel blade – Strong, flexible, and chrome-coated to resist rust

Comfortable GOM handle – Non-slip grip absorbs vibration, even in wet conditions

1. Quick Wipe Down
After you’re done, just brush or wipe off any sawdust or sap. No fancy cleaning
routine needed.

2. Keep It Dry
If the blade gets wet, dry it before folding or sheathing.

3. Light Oil (Now and Then)
Every so often, give the blade a quick spray with a household oil (WD-40 or
CRC). That’s it, nothing constant. Lanolin will work great and is widely available

4. Swap the Blade When Needed
Silky blades are super tough, but when the teeth finally dull, just pop on a new blade. No sharpening required.
